MC14541B是采用CMOS制作工藝、具有DIP-14及SOIC-14、TSSOP-14等多種封裝的可編程定時集成電路。芯片內(nèi)部集成了自動／手動復(fù)位電路、二進(jìn)制計數(shù)器、計數(shù)器級數(shù)設(shè)定電路、振蕩器及輸出邏輯控制等電路。利用MC14541B構(gòu)成的長時間定時控制器典型電路如圖所示。它適用于各種需要定時控制的用電設(shè)備。

電路結(jié)構(gòu)及主要元器件選擇：
由圖可知，該長時間定時控制器由電源電路、定時電路和繼電器控制電路等幾部分組成。其中，電源電路由電源開關(guān)S、降壓元件R2、C2、穩(wěn)壓二極管VD2、整流二極管VD1和濾波電容C3組成。實際應(yīng)用時，VD2常選用12V、1／2W穩(wěn)壓二極管，如IN6002型等。220V交流電通過降壓、整流、穩(wěn)壓和濾波后形成穩(wěn)定的＋12V左右直流電壓給定時電路和F3PU30-0S繼電器控制電路供電。
定時電路由可編程定時集成電路IC（MC14541B）及定時元件RP、C4等外圍元件組成。其中MC14541B第10腳為定時方式選擇端MODE，當(dāng)MODE接高電平時，電路工作于循環(huán)定時模式，MODE接低電平，則電路工作于單定時模式；第12、13腳為編程端，分別用A、B表示。實際應(yīng)用時，RP常選用WS型的小型精密電位器。
繼電器控制電路由參數(shù)固態(tài)繼電器PSSR、吸收元件R1、C1和輸出插座X組成。其中PSSR為6腳器件，1～4腳為控制輸入端，5、6兩腳為輸出端；R1、C1組成吸收回路，主要用來保護(hù)參數(shù)固態(tài)繼電器。實際應(yīng)用時，PSSR常選用JCG220V／5A型參數(shù)固態(tài)繼電器，其外形尺寸為40mm×30mm×15mm，6個引出端成一字形排列，4根細(xì)線即1～4腳分別為控制輸入端，2根粗線為輸出端5、6腳。
工作原理：
電路通電后，由于MC14541B第9腳接低電平，故芯片復(fù)位后第8腳輸出為低電平，PSSR的控制輸入端1、4腳間無觸發(fā)信號，輸出端5、6腳接通，即PSSR處于開通狀態(tài)，電源插座X對外送電，使插在X里的被控電器通電工作。當(dāng)設(shè)置的定時時間一到，MC14541B輸出端第8腳由低電平跳變?yōu)楦唠娖?，PSSR的1、4腳間獲得高電平觸發(fā)信號，其輸出端5、6腳間斷開，即PSSR處于關(guān)斷狀態(tài)，使插在X里的被控電器因失電而停止工作。調(diào)節(jié)電位器RP，可以獲得不同的定時時間。本電路MC14541B的編程端12、13腳均接高電平VDD，即A＝B＝1，定時級數(shù)nzui高，所以可獲得極長的定時時間。
